If you don't want to talk just yet, that's understandable. However, if you need some support in the meantime, these sites are good sources of information to help you understand what's going on and get you through the immediate wave of how you are feeling right now. Then, if you want to meet face to face, just e-mail or phone me and we can take the next step.

UKCP
This is my main professional organisation which accredits psychotherapists and oversees the way I work. They also have free podcasts presented by professional therapists which might help you understand what you are going through.

Common mental health problems
'Mind' is a national charity providing information about mental health. If you or a family member or a friend or an employee have had a psychiatric diagnosis, they publish free leaflets and booklets online which can help you to understand what it means.

Black Dog Tribe
'Sane' works to increase cultural and social awareness of mental health issues, providing support and advice and including resources for family and friends concerned about a loved one.

Maytree
A residential centre for people who have attempted suicide or are in a suicidal crisis. I used to work there and I know from first hand experience that it's a unique environment to help you feel safe when the world around you doesn't feel particularly safe.
Big White Wall
A moderated online community offering peer support for anyone experiencing mental health problems.

Counselling Directory
A site listing counsellors and psychotherapists in the UK, searchable by area.

Castlewood Therapies
A site for those seeking a range of helping therapies in central and south London.
